Alimosho council boss graduates 125 fish farming training beneficiaries.

In all, 125 beneficiaries graduated and they were each given suitable materials needed to start a fish farm on a small scale.

THE Executive Chairman of Alimosho Local Government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon, on Friday, November 26, 2021, graduated the beneficiaries of the just concluded fish farming training at the graduation ceremony which took place at the council's secretariat, Alimosho.

The ceremony, which signaled the end of a two weeks intensive training, is meant to usher in the beneficiaries into the fish production world.

While speaking at the event, Hon. Jelili emphasised the need for the beneficiaries to utilize the knowledge gained in order to improve their income and consequently improve the fish production deficit being experienced in the country.

He also appreciated the management of GIZ for bringing the training to the Alimosho community and supporting the development of the Alimosho constituency.

The program was graced by the Executive Chairman,Hon. Jelili Sulaimon; his Vice Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Johnson; the Executives of SAEIO GLOBAL, which is the NGO in charge of the training and a partner of the Nigerian-German Centre for Jobs, Migration and Reintegration (NGC); and the representatives of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), which is the sponsoring organisation for the event.
