AFROVANGUARD, a non-profit organisation domiciled in Alimosho, has organised the Year 2023 edition of the Alimosho Carol Concert and Choral Awards while calling for sponsors for the Street to Stardom Project.
Note that the Alimosho Carol Concert and Choral Awards is a non-denominational convergence of the Alimosho Community, dignitaries, religious leaders, and traditional leaders in the spirit of appreciation to God for successfully seeing the end of the year.
The event will feature presentations from different choirs in Alimosho and awards for individuals making a positive impact in the community. 
The event will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Lagos Theatre, Igando, by 3 pm. The Chief Host of the event is Rev. Rotimi Olukorede.
Similarly, the organisation has called sponsors for the Street to Stardom Project. The Street to Stardom Project was born in 2021 with a mission to establish a Community Advancement Centre nurturing talented children, taking them off the street, and training them in values, arts, tech, and media.
This project is in line with the organisation’s goal to wage a fierce battle against cultism, abuse, vices, and academic struggles in our secondary schools. 
However, the Alimosho Carol Concert and Choral Awards is aimed at equipping the Community Advancement Centre and propelling the children from the streets to stardom.
The organisation has urged sponsors to support the initiative by donating N1,000 through a T-shirt purchase or N3,000 for a Vendor's Stand. Sponsors can also cover membership subscriptions or partner to provide essential art, media, and tech gadgets for the children.
