THE House of Representatives aspirant for the Alimosho Federal Constituency in the last election under the political platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ambassador Kaokab Ibraheem Aroworatira, has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their qualification for the final of the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), following the win over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a thrilling semifinal encounter in Ivory Coast.
In a statement made available for publication today, Thursday, February 8, 2024, Kaokab commended the Super Eagles for their display of resilience and the can-do spirit of Nigerians to defeat their opponent by holding their nerves through an emotionally charged penalty shoot won by the Super Eagles.
Hon. Kaokab noted that the build-up to the game demonstrated the undiluted passion by which Nigerians are known to rally in defence of their country in difficult times and urged all Nigerians to continue to support the Super Eagles to soar in their quest to bring home the coveted continental trophy.
“This win by the Super Eagles proves that Nigeria has what it takes to bounce back from its temporary setback as a nation. 
“We are inspired as a country, and we must all support the Super Eagles to bring home the trophy as they go against the Ivory Coast in the final this weekend,” he said.
Kaokab then urged Nigerians to pray for the Super Eagles to succeed in winning the Nations Cup, adding that the team needs the support of all Nigerians to bring home the trophy.
