THE member of the House of Representatives in the Alimosho Federal Constituency, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba, has congratulated Nigeria's Super Eagles on their progress in the African Cup of Nations, Ivory Coast 2023, following a thrilling victory over the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, in a 4-2 penalty shootout after an intense 1-1 draw in 120 minutes of football, to qualify for the finals.
In a statement made available for publication today, Thursday, February 8, 2024, Ayuba said: "The Super Eagles showed that there is nothing that cannot be achieved with commitment, teamwork, and resilience.
"We are optimistic the Super Eagles will bring victory and honour to our fatherland. Congratulations to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, the team handlers, and Nigeria.
