THE foremost Alimosho community news platform, Alimoshotoday.com is once again, set to hold the second edition of the Alimosho Tomorrow Leaders Conference in the last quarter of 2023, with plans to expand the number of invitees and facilitators to 1500 community students and 10 facilitators.

Recall that Alimoshotoday.com had on Friday, September 23, 2022, held its maiden edition with the theme, 'Walking the Pathway to Lifetime Success',  at the Lagos Theatre, NYSC bus stop, Igando.3103

The event brought together 400 senior secondary school students from 26 private and public schools in the Alimosho Local Government Area, where they were thrilled with motivational and educative talks from facilitators drawn from the academia, tech sector, religious sector, and the media.

The facilitators impacted the students on topics like entrepreneurship, patriotism, leadership skills, moral values, and information technology. The event also featured question-and-answer interactive sessions where students went home with various prizes for their participation.

However, for this second edition, the organisers have decided to expand the number of students from 400 to 1,500. According to the MD/Publisher of Alimoshotoday.com, Mr Dupe Akinola, the event will run for a period of four weeks, with secondary school students from all LCDAs in Alimosho attending in batches according to their LCDA. This, he says, will bring more students on board, while also hinting that this time, various facilitators would be there to thrill the students on various career and leadership paths.

Mr Akinola also pleaded for support from well-meaning individuals and organisations in the Alimosho community and beyond, as the students would be expected to attend the conference with their financial support.
