THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, has implored the residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA to be physically and emotionally present to their loved especially in trying times.
He gave this as the world celebrates Valentine's Day today, February 14, 2022.
An online correspondence signed by the council mayor reads; “In our busy lifestyles, we are often short of time for everything. Sometimes, we get so occupied in our lives that we even forget to give time to those who really mean so much to us.
“We participate in the race of life to buy comfort for ourselves and those we love but in times of their discomfort, sometimes; we don’t even stop to listen to their heart. We might feel we are providing them with the best but actually, they could be feeling the least.
“Nothing can replace the time you give to someone when you listen to understand them. When people feel low in life, a heartful conversation can bring comfort to their hearts; all it takes is your presence and time.
“Dear constituents, it's Valentines, give time to those you love; it is the most valuable gift you can give to someone.”
Hon. Famuyiwa also used the opportunity to wish the residents of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA a happy Valentine’s day celebration and a happy new week!
