TIMEON Kairos Polytechnic and Professional Institute, a private tertiary institution, located at 326 Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, Cele/Super Bus stop, Abule Egba Lagos, that offers higher education and vocational skills to school leavers seeking higher education knowledge, has been approved to conduct the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination (IJMBE) in Lagos State.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that TimeOn Kairos Polytechnic has been approved as a coaching and examination centre for IJMBE, moderated by Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. The programme is designed to provide an opportunity for candidates with only O’Level results but no appropriate JAMB scores to enter universities in Nigeria and the diaspora. Students awaiting their O’Level results can also apply.
Note that with IJMBE, candidates can secure 200 Level admission without JAMB via Direct Entry into universities such as UNIBEN, UNILORIN, UNIABUJA, NOUN, FUOYE, FUTA, FUNAAB & ABU; TASUED, UNIOSUN, OSUSTECH, KWASU, LASU, EKSU, DELSU, LAUTECH, IMSU & TECH-U Ib.
Prospective candidates are to select any three (3) advanced-level subject combinations identified with their preferred Course of Study in the University, be it Science, Arts or Social Science, along with the English language. This A’Level programme runs for a maximum period of one academic session of 9 – 10 months full-time divided into two (2) semesters for entry into 200 Level without JAMB.
