THE Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa has rejoiced with the Muslims in the council area as they celebrate the year 2023 Eid-el-Kabir festival.
In his felicitation on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, the council Boss said: “On behalf of the Government and the wonderful people of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, I join the world to rejoice with all Muslims in Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Lagos, and Nigeria as we celebrate this year's Eid.
“The Eid el-Kabir is a great festival. It is great because it evolves from the profane and the sacred. It is a festival instituted by the Almighty through Prophets Ibrahim and Ismail (upon them be peace and blessings of Allah). 
“Eid el-Kabir is a story - a story of a man and his pious family, a story of belief in the season of disbelief. Prophet Ibrahim chose to believe in the Almighty. To believe in the Almighty is to make a difficult but extremely rewarding choice.
“May I use this medium to urge every one of us to believe and put our trust in Almighty Allah. Let us hope and put our confidence in the present administration as the rewards of our choice of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu shall surely be fulfilled.
“I implore all Muslims to continue to imbibe the teachings and lessons of Eid-il-Kabir while we use this period to supplicate to Allah for peace, unity, prosperity, and stability in our dear and great country, Nigeria amidst the challenges the Nation faces at this trying moment.
“I wish you all a Happy Eid-il-Kabir celebration.”
