ONE of the core objectives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party is poverty alleviation through regular social welfare packages to indigent party members, which include monthly empowerment and trade and skills acquisition programmes for community members.
Hence, in the spirit of the Progressives, the Executive Chairman of the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Famuyiwa, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, empowered more than 200 vulnerable party faithful with cash across the during the APC Mandate end of the year meeting held at the party secretariat.
During his address, the Council Mayor established that the empowerment will be continuous, noting that members who were unable to get empowered this time will surely get theirs during the next empowerment.
He concluded by urging the party members to stay committed and remain faithful to the party. He further admonished them to continue to pray and believe in the Renewed Hope Agenda.
