THE Executive Chairman of Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA, Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, has felicitated the Muslim brethren in the council area as they celebrate Eid-el-Fitr to signify the end of the Ramadan fast.
His felicitation message today, Friday, April 21, 2023, reads, “It is yet another memorable day to celebrate Eid-il-Fitr. Eid-el-Fitr is one of the most significant festivals for all Muslims across the world. It marks the end of the month of fasting for all Muslims. It is indeed a month of self-reflection and spirituality. 
“As we celebrate the end of this year's Ramadan, I especially appreciate Almighty Allah for His mercy, guidance and protection all through the month of fasting while celebrating with all Islamic faithful, Muhmeeni and Munmenat for making this far. May Almighty Allah accept our prayers.
“May I, on behalf of my formidable team, use this great celebration to urge every one of us to abide by the practice and teachings of Ramadan. I implore us to shun all acts that may hinder the peace of the nation while celebrating with our loved ones as this will make Nigeria a safer and better place for all.
“As you go to Eid for prayers today, remember to pray for the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he takes over power on May 29, 2023, and that Nigeria will be better and greater in all ramifications in the next administration and even beyond.
“I wish you all a happy and blissful Eid-el-Fitr celebration.”
The council Boss then admonished them to celebrate in moderation and keep the nation's peace.
