THE members of the Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Agbado Oke-Odo Branch recently elected their new Executive Officials in a rather keenly contested but free, fair, and credible election at the Council Secretariat.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday states that the election, aimed at producing the next set of intermediaries between the staff and the management team, was anchored and coordinated by the Lagos State NULGE President, Comr. Sunday Sewanu, and had in attendance the council's staff, management team, Executives, Legislators, former staff and NULGE leaders as observers.
In his short address, the Executive Chairman of the council area, Hon. David Famuyiwa admonished the staff to vote their conscience and be in their best behaviour as the election is not a do or die affair. 
The election came to a successful ending with Comr. Femi Tajudeen Olowolagba emerging as the winner by defeating the current Chairman, Comr. Agemo Oladeinde Joseph with about 66 votes.
In his acceptance speech, Comr. Olowolagba appreciated the council Chairman, council Manager, HRO and everyone for their support in ensuring his emergence as the new NULGE Branch Chairman. He assured everyone that his administration will work as servants and not rulers while operating an open door policy.

The newly elected team include Comr. Femi Tajudeen Olowolagba, Chairman; Com. Akanmu Abass Olusegun, Vice-Chairman; Comr. Falola Yemisi, Women Leader; Comr. Fadipe A. Oluwadamilare, Secretary; Comr. Olusola Agbeke Temitope, Asst. Secretary; Comr. Fayemi Fadekemi Tinukemi, Treasurer; Comr. David Olalekan, Young Person; Comr. Ikono Ezekiel, Auditor; and Comr.Ajenifuja Saheed Babatunde, Trustee.
Others include Comr. Fatoye Adebowale, Admin/HRO Representative; Comr. Akinlade Folashade, Agric/WAPA Representative; Comr. Odunbaku Fatimo O, Budget/ICT/Procurement Representative; Comr. Sokeye Tumininu, Education Representative; Comr. Sangogbenro Felix Oludayo, Environmental Services Representative; Comr. Raphael Evelyn Y., Finance Representative; Comr. Ekunsunmi Olubukola D., Health Representative; and Comr. Olaoya Lawrence, Works and Infrastructure Representative.
