AN accident involving two commercial vehicles, a Nissan bus and a minibus (Korope), occurred at Ijaiye Road inward Abule-Egba in the Agbado Oke-Odo LCDA of Alimosho LGA in Lagos State on Tuesday morning.
The incident, which left the affected vehicles severely damaged, was disclosed in a post on the X handle of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) on Tuesday.
According to LASTMA, the accident was due to brake failure, and the casualties, who sustained minor injuries, have been taken for treatment.
LASTMA wrote, "Multiple accidents occurred at Ijaiye inward Abule Egba due to brake failure. Casualties sustained minor injuries and have been taken to BISAM Hospital at Ijaye for treatment.”
The statement added that the damaged vehicles had been taken off the road. As of the time of the filing of this report, normalcy has since returned to the area.
