Phil Foden's toughest opponent revealed

Phil Foden toughest opponent revealed.

MANCHESTER City's deadly winger, Phil Foden has opened up and named the toughest player he has ever played against in his football career.

Foden, who happens to be one of the best forwards in the Premier League at a young age, has played against a lot of defenders and has come up successful against them.

Despite his quick feet, shooting accuracy, ball control, and pace, Phil Foden has revealed that the toughest opponent he has come across is Chelsea's defender, Reece James.

Speaking with Sky Sports’ Olivia Buzzaglo during a Q&A session, Foden, 23, named James as his toughest opponent.

Buzzaglo posted on X (formerly Twitter): “I’ve just finished a Q+A with the lovely Phil Foden, and he said the toughest full-back he’s ever played against is Reece James.”

Both players, who are England internationals, have faced each other eight times during their professional careers, with Foden winning three and Reece James winning four of the encounters.
