POPULAR Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin has reportedly renounced Islam while condemning anyone who addresses her as an Alhaja.
Media reports state that she launched an attack on fans who chose to address her with the Islamic titles she wholeheartedly embraced as a Muslim.
The actress, in a recent video, said she has opted to sever connections with Islam and Muslims, having undergone intense online bullying and harassment.
According to her, this decision stems from the perceived lack of backing from fellow Muslims or Islamic organisations during her ordeals.
Lizzy said: “Don’t ever call me Alhaja or Iya Adini again. I did not see any Muslim defend me on social media.”
