Burna Boy loses 7 nominations at BET Hip-Hop Awards

GRAMMY award winner, Burna Boy has shockingly lost all seven nominations at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards.

The 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards was held at Atlanta’s Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center on October 3, 2023, and broadcast Tuesday night, October 10, 2023.

Burna Boy, who was nominated in seven categories at the award, could not go home with the awards, as he lost all his seven nominations to other top artists.

Burna Boy lost the Hustler of the Year to 50 Cent and Best Collaboration of the Year for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ feat 21 Savage to Lil Durk and J. Cole’s ‘All My Life.’

He also lost the Hip Hop Artist of the Year, Lyricist of the Year, and Best Live Performer of the Year categories to American rapper and singer Kendrick Lamar.

The talented artist also lost the Best Hip Hop Video for ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ feat 21 Savage to Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Just Wanna Rock’ and Song of the Year to the same song.
