CONTROVERSIAL Nigerian singer, Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has claimed that Grammy award-winning artist, Burna Boy is not up to his standard.
The Maverick singer made this known on the Curiosity Made Me Ask podcast hosted by skit maker, Bae U Barbie, on the difference in level between him and Burna Boy, noting that he is the better person.
Reacting to Burna Boy’s diss freestyle where he insinuated that Brymo has “fallen off," Brymo said: “Is it [the diss freestyle] not Burna Boy lyrics? But he would like to know that nothing in this world would put his name in my song. He no reach my standard.”
Recall that in 2023, Brymo accused Burna Boy of song theft as he alleged that Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys’ and ‘I Told Them’ sampled the title track of his upcoming album, ‘Macabre,' to which Burna Boy dissed him during a freestyle with his band in October last year.
