According to a statement signed by the Commissioner for Finance, Dr. Rabiu Olowo, the discount for early payment of the LUC bill within this period is not inclusive of payment of accumulated fines arising from late payment by property owners.
He stated that the idea of the 15% discount was designed to encourage early payment of the LUC by property owners in the State.
Dr Olowo urged property owners in the State to cultivate the habit of paying their Land Use Charge when due so that the state government can have adequate resources to carry out developmental projects in the state.
He, therefore, advised residents to access the Lagos On-Line Assistant (LOLA), on 0815 433 3883 to make payment for their Land Use Charges in a more convenient manner.
