Canadian media outlet partners to launch Alimosho Today

CHAMBERMAID concepts Lagos, in partnership with a Canadian media outlet, Village Media, has launched a community news outlet in Lagos, Nigeria, Alimosho Today. 

Earlier this week, Alimosho Today's team, led by Mr Dupe Akinola officially on Monday, August 24, became active online.

According to Sootoday.com, AlimoshoToday represents the only daily news source dedicated to the Local Government Area of Alimosho in Lagos State, Nigeria, providing local news and community information to a population of over 1.8 million people.

"The launch of a dedicated local news site for the region will be a significant catalyst for healthy community growth in Alimosho," Village Media team said.

This was made public in the early hours of today by the Chief Executive Officer of Village Media,  Jeff Elgie.

The local AlimoshoToday team is led by Publisher- Dupe Akinola and Editor- Adenike Sotade, and includes Senior News Reporter Oluwafunmilayo Daramola, Reporters-Gideon Adonai and Josephine Kolawole, and Site Administrator- Adedamola Oni.
