WITH Chelsea football club getting things ready to appoint former Tottenham Hotspur Manager, Mauricio Pochettino, as the new club manager, questions have been asked on what the future holds for Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgium international is currently on loan away from Chelsea at Inter Milan and would have to return to the London club when the season comes to an end. With Pochettino getting close to taking over the club, it remains unknown if Lukaku would be part of the former PSG boss' plans.
Inter Milan's President is also not dismissing the facts of losing Lukaku next season, as he believes it is left for Chelsea's boss and directors to decide.
“He is on loan until June 30, then he’ll be back to Chelsea, who will decide his future. We still don’t know the directors and the next coach of the Blues.
“Will we bring him back? We’ll evaluate in the future when we’ll sit down with the technical area. Now, we are focused on the present with extraordinary games ahead.”
Chelsea would be hoping to bounce back next season after a disappointing season which saw them in the bottom half. Should the Blues want to get back to the top, they would need all hands on deck, hopefully, Romelu Lukaku could be important to next season's campaign.
