BAYERN Munich has completed the signing of Sadio Mane from Liverpool for a fee in the region of £35 Million as he penned a £250,000 per week deal after completing his medical.

The 2019 African footballer of the year moved to the Bundesliga giant, becoming the biggest transfer sagas of the summer after spending 6 years in Liverpool and having joined Liverpool since 2016 from  Southampton for £37m.

In his first interview with Bayern Munich, the player revealed what prompted his decision to join the club:

"When my agent first told me about Bayern's interest, I was immediately excited. I saw myself there right away... It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title.

"So for me it was a very good idea and the right decision to come here; the agent told me that there were enquiries from other clubs. That's part of the business"

Liverpool was at first reluctant to sell the player who has been an important part of  Liverpool underJurgen Klopp. However, immediately they completed an £85m deal for Uruguay striker, Darwin Nunez, the Reds gave their nod and allowed the 30 years old player (Sadio Mane) to leave.
