CHRISTIANO Ronaldo has gifted the Manchester United shirt he wore for the Champions League fixture against Young Boys to female steward he accidentally knocked out with a shot.
The Portuguese accidentally hit one of the stadium female steward with a wayward shot during the warm up which left her flat on the ground and in need of medical attention.
Ronaldo hurriedly ran to her to make sure she was okay and later returned after the end of the fixture to gift her his shirt despite a 2-1 loss.
Despite Ronaldo's goal in the first half, Manchester united was unable to hold on to a win after Moumi Ngamaleu's equaliser. Theoson Siebatcheu later grabbed a late winner after Jesse Lingard's short back pass.
Ronaldo tweeted after the fixture "Wasn't the result we wanted, but now it’s time to recover well and focus on the next game!"
