PARIS Saint German is hopeful that forward Kylian Mbappe, who has less than a year left on his contract, will sign a new one.

On the other hand, Real Madrid has already shown interest in the frenchman, submitting different bids during the summer transfer window including a £197M bid which PSG rejected.

However, PSG Sport Director, Leonardo, claimed that the club is confident of extending his stay at Parc des Princes, rather than signing a pre contract with another club (possibly Real Madrid) in January.

"I don't see Kylian leaving at the end of this season.

"Mbappe's relationship with PSG is deep. I don't think anyone here sees the future without him. "Leonardo told Canal Plus, a French television channel

Mbappe has not allowed the transfer speculation to affect him as he has started his fine form this season, scoring four goals in five games at the start of the campaign.
