NAPOLI and Nigeria forward, Victor Osimhen has begun his physiotherapy after suffering a shoulder injury while on international duty.

The 21-year-old returned to Stadio San Paolo to begin his physiotherapy after a shoulder dislocation during Nigeria's 4-4 draw with Sierra Leone on Friday during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying games.

The forward was replaced by Paul Onuachu after scoring a goal and making two assists in the 4-4 draw.

A statement from the Club said Victor Osimhen underwent tests in Rome on Wednesday, which confirmed that he had suffered a dislocated shoulder.

The player has already begun physiotherapy on the injury and will be reassessed on a daily basis.

The Napoli striker missed the return leg of the Sierra Leone encounter which ended in a goalless draw.

Napoli are hoping he would recover enough to feature in the next league game against AC Milan on Sunday.
