NIGERIA striker, Victor Osimhen, has again picked up another injury against Inter Milan on Sunday, November 21, 2021, which could see him out for the next one month.
The Napoli striker had to be substituted ten minutes into the second half after suffering a terrible injury from a head-to-head collision with Milan defender, Skriniar.
Speaking after the match, Napoli's manager, Luciano Spalletti said:
"Osimhen is now in the hospital, he could not see well, he has a swollen eye.
"I think he got a hematoma around his eye, I think it ends there and it's just a blunt trauma and that's it".
Medical tests also confirmed that Osimhen sustained a fractured eye socket, and cheekbone and could undergo surgery, and then rehabilitation.
For Napoli, Osimhen has scored nine (9) goals with two (2) assists in fourteen games across all competitions so far this season.
