THE National Chairman of the Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC) Rev Samuel Ikpea has declared that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will defeat the Fennec Foxes of Algeria when they meet tomorrow, Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Reports state that the Super Eagles of Nigeria will hope to line a strong team as the Fennec Foxes are not a simple team to be joked with as they were the one that took out the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the 2019 AFCON competition which saw the latter crowned champions.

Despite the Algeria team being a strong team, Rev Samuel Ikpea strongly believes the Nigeria team will make an impressive stand and be victorious against the Foxes.

Ikpea said to Africa Foot United, "This match is very interesting. A friendly game for two African teams that failed to qualify for the World Cup. It will help them prepare for the next Africa Cup of Nations and allow them to test new players.

“Well, I see the Super Eagles getting a win in this match even though nothing is at stake. So for the score, it will end 2-1 in favour of Nigeria,” he added.

Nigeria will be without some key players like Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Leon Balogun, Oghenekaro Etebo, Sadiq Umar and Emmanuel Dennis.

In addition to that, William Troost-Ekong and Wilfred Ndidi were forced to withdraw from the roster due to injuries.
