REPORTS suggest that the Club has begun talks with Chelsea's forward, Timo Werner's agents, over a possible move in January 2022.
Werner has dropped down the attacking ranks since the signing of Romelu Lukaku as he now plays second fiddle to Lukaku.
Newcastle, who is without a win this season and is sitting in the19th position on the table, is already planning to add a new player by January as it looks to redeem itself and go for Gold.
Talks have already begun between both parties and should an agreement be reached, it will be left for Chelsea to state an asking price.
Timo Wener is not the only premier league player Newcastle is showing interest in, as the likes of Arsenal's Alexander Lacazete and Manchester United's Jesse Lingard have been linked to the Club.
