MANCHESTER United has ended things with manager, Erik Ten Hag after a poor start to the campaign.

This is coming after a series of poor performances, which has seen the club sit 14th in the Premier League and 21st in the UEFA Europa League.

Ten Hag was appointed in April 2022, and led the club to two domestic trophies, winning the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

The 54-year-old former Ajax boss was backed by new co-owners INEOS in the summer with a contract extension until June 2026.

However, Man Utd’s underwhelming start to the new campaign has now seen the manager pay the price for their unstable form as the board hands him his sack letter.

Ruud van Nistelrooy will take charge as interim head coach of Manchester United.
