MANCHESTER United has opened talks to sign 26 years old Atletico Madrid midfielder, Saul Niguez.
It appears United has been keeping track of the Spanish midfielder for some months and has decided to pursue the option of bringing him to Old Trafford this summer.
Saul Niguez currently has a £128m contract release clause to prevent potential suitors trying to take the 26-year-old midfielder from Atletico.
But due to the Financial strain caused by the Pandemic, the La Liga champion is prepared to sell its homegrown talent for £45m.
Manchester United will have to battle Barcelona and Juventus who have started negotiations to sign Saul from Atletico Madrid taking into consideration that Saul still has a 5-year contract with Madrid.
Manchester United is yet to submit an official bid yet.
