MANCHESTER City finally got their revenge on Real Madrid, as they edged past the defending champions with a 4-0 at the Etihad Stadium to secure a Champions League final fixture.
The match could have been over in the first half, as Bernardo Silva found the back of the net twice before an own goal and a finish from Alvarez in the second half ended the game.
City are now three wins away from securing a treble of trophies, as a win against Chelsea in the Premier League would secure them the league trophy. Also, a win against United would mean they take home the FA Cup, and should they take down Inter Milan in the Champions League final, they would be crowned champions of Europe.
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, who was speaking to CBS Sports, admitted it was impossible for anyone to hate Manchester City at this point.
Henry said: “Everyone knows I’m an Arsenal fan, but if you don’t like Man City, you surely have a problem in your head.”
The Champions League final against Inter Milan will take place in Istanbul, at the Ataturk Stadium on June 10.
