THE Super Eagles of Nigeria were far from super during yesterday's game, as they fell to Guinea Bissau at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja.

The match, which boasted many respected football stars in the Nigerian camp, left fans disappointed, as the team lost 1-0.

Speaking on the loss, Super Eagles' coach, Jose Peseiro, who hardly sat down throughout the game, congratulated the winning side while stating he was not happy with the results.

"First of all, congratulations to Guinea-Bissau. We missed many goals, we could have been here for another one hour and not score, sometimes, it happens in football.

"I'm not happy of course. We created many, many clear opportunities but it was a bad day. If we played in the way like we played today, we (are supposed to) beat Guinea- Bissau. Guinea-Bissau were lucky and very bad luck for us," Peseiro said at the post-match press conference.
