With the title hope gone, Manchester City are on course to win a treble, as they are still in the Champions League semi-final stage and also in the finals of the FA Cup.

Arsenal crashes out of Premier League

GARY Neville, who made over 400 appearances for Manchester United, has blamed the most experienced player in Arsenal for letting the league title slip off their hands.

The Gunners suffered a 3-0 defeat to Brighton on Sunday, making it difficult for them to secure the title, as Manchester City is just in need of a win out of three games to clinch the Premier League title for the season.

Neville, who had often criticized Arsenal and doubted them, blamed the more experienced player for making the title get away from them.

“I think we have seen Gabriel, [Thomas] Partey, [Granit] Xhaka and a couple of others, their weakest time of the season. They have lost their form, and the older players have not been able to settle the younger players, who were, inevitably, always going to struggle at this moment through pressure.

“The experienced players have just not been quite there for them,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
