THE FA has handed Chelsea a fine of £75,000 for picking up six yellow cards in the 2-1 win over Newcastle United on Sunday.
The Blues won the match 2-1, following a goal by Chelsea Nicholas Jackson in the 18th minute, an equaliser by Isak in the 32nd minute, and then a match-winning goal by Cole Palmer in the second half.
During the game, Chelsea picked up 6 yellow cards through Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez, Christopher Nkunku, Weskey Fofana, Romeo Lavia, Pedro Neto, and Noni Madueke.
This has led to a £75,000 fine as it becomes the third time this season that the West London side have registered six yellow cards in a single game.
The Blues had similar disciplinary issues in the 1-0 win over Bournemouth, where they received eight cautions and were handed a £25,000 fine.
The London giants registered six yellow cards in the 1-1 draw against Nottingham Forest earlier this month and were fined £50,000 by the FA.
