AFTER a period of deafening silence, Antonio Conte has finally spoken up for the first time since he was sacked as Tottenham's manager.

The Italian tactician came to a mutual agreement to end his stay at the North London club after 16 months in charge.

Conte was already expected to part ways with the club after an explosive post-match interview in a 3-3 draw against Southampton.

The manager at the interview didn’t hide his words, as he ensured that he touched every part of the team, including players and members of the board.

In a swift reaction, Spurs did not spare any time in parting ways with the former Chelsea manager.

Speaking days after, Conte thanked fans and club supporters for sticking with him while he was at the club.

Via an Instagram post, he said, “I would like to deeply thank everyone at Spurs who appreciated and shared my passion and my intense way of living football as a coach.

"A special thought to the fans who always showed me support and appreciation, it’s been unforgettable to hear them singing my name. Our journey together has ended, I wish you all the best for the future - Antonio."

As it stands, Conte's next location is unknown as Tottenham Hotspur begins their search for his replacement ahead of next season.
