CHELSEA FC management has suddenly turned attention to another Italy player, Domenico Berardi, after being rejected by Juventus for Federico Chiesa.
It is has been confirmed that Chelsea is now looking at the €40Million-worth Italian Domenico Berardi after admitting defeat in the transfer chase of a fellow Italian, Fredrico Chiesa.
Berardi came up through the Sassuolo youth system before moving to Juventus in 2013 for £4million.
He failed to make a single appearance for the Bianconeri and had two loan spells back at his boyhood club, which later led to a permanent return for £9million in 2015.
He currently have a record of 86 goals and 56 assists in 238 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo.
The 26 years old has been considered an option for Chelsea after Borussia Dortmund turned down there offer for Erling Haaland.
