BAYERN Munich has placed a €40 Million price tag on their Polish forward, Robert Lewandowski, should he refuse to sign a new deal.

Lewandowski, who is no doubt one of the best striker in the history of football, could leave the German giant in the next transfer window should he turn down offer from the club.

With just 1 year left on the contract, Bayern is hoping to secure the striker for another 1 or 2 years, which appears not to please the 33 years old who would prefer a longer period.

Bayern is not the type to offer a long term contract to a player above 30 years and have decided that should Lewandowski rejects the offer, they would be willing to let him go for nothing less than €40Million.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Barcelona are among the clubs keeping an eye on the situation of things and may likely compete for the striker who has 47 goals in 42 appearances for Bayern Munich this season.
