Tolisso spent part of his summer playing for France at the European Championships and was expected to return to Bayern Munich camp in hopes of impressing his new boss Julian Nagelsmann before his contract expires next summer.

A tweet from the club's English Twitter handle read:

"Corentin Tolisso has tested positive for coronavirus. He is currently self-isolating in his home country, France."

This is not the first time the 26-year-old will be reported on issues related to Covid 19 as Tolisso was fined for getting a tattoo during the pandemic in January and for potentially exposing himself and his teammates to the virus.

Tolisso was part of the squad that won the FIFA world cup 2018 with France.
