PARIS Saint German has confirmed that Angel Di Maria will be leaving the club at the end of the season after seven seasons with the French club.
Having enjoyed a successful time with Real Madrid in Spain before a failed season stint with Manchester United at England, the Argentine got his place back when he joined PSG in 2015 and has been part of the side winning the Ligue 1 trophy on five occasions.
The 34 years old player's contract with the French giant expires at the end of the season and it has been confirmed there will be no extension.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi broke the news when he said: "Angel Di Maria has left a permanent mark on the history of the club. He will remain in the memories of the supporters as someone with an irreproachable attitude who has defended our colours with faultless commitment.
On his future, the player has been reported to likely find his next place in Italy as Juventus is interested in the playmaker. He may also feature in this year's World Cup competition (for Argentina, his country), which could be his last.
