THE executives and members of Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees, (NULGE), Mosan-Okunola LCDA branch, have thrown the full weight of the labour union behind the re-election aspiration of the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo aka "Abisco".
Mosan-Okunola NULGE unanimously pledged the support of the union for Hon Adebajo. This was done in response to Comrade Feyisetan Smith aka Gbogboski, motion.
Comrade Smith in her motion said the union members and executives are ready to work for the success of Hon Adebajo's re-election back into office as Executive Chairman of the council in the July 24 council elections in Lagos State based on her achievements, her inclusiveness and her harmonious working relationship with staff members.
Representatives of departments and units in the Council took turns to support the motion for NULGE to support for the re-election bid of the Executive Chairman; they anchored their positions on the need for continuity and the consolidation of the good works started by Hon Adebajo, they also prayed for divine guidance and more strength to do much more in her second term in office as she promised.
NULGE Mosan-Okunola Chairman Comrade Olushola Bashorun in his message to the staff members appreciated them for their supports since the inception of his administration. He commended the Union's disputes resolving mechanism that has entrenched industrial peace in the Council.
The immediate past chairman of the Union, Comrade Rabiu Salem, graced the event.
