EID MUBARAK: Embrace religious tolerance, peaceful co-existence, Abisco urges Muslim faithfuls

HON Princess Adebajo, Mosan Okunola LCDA Chairman and popularly known as Abisco, while rejoicing with Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir celebration, urged them to celebrate with caution in the wake of the third wave of coronavirus infections in the country as she also advised them to keep to all the COVID-19 guidelines.

Also, in her Eid-el-Kabir message issued today by her Chief Press Secretary, Nwosu Stephen, she advised the good people of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, especially Muslim faithful to imbibe the lessons of the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim and work for the peace, stability, unity and progress of the country at large.

She said, "As we celebrate this year's Eid-El-Kabir, May Almighty Allah grant us the reward of adhering to His doctrine behind the festivity of Eid- El-Kabir, here and in the hereafter".

"And may the lessons of selflessness and sacrifice exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Prophet Ismail, which engendered the need for the festivity in the first please, forever be embedded in our minds and remain the compass for our relationships with one another (Amen)".

Abisco also used the opportunity to seek Mosan-Okunola LCDA residents' support for development and growth of the lLCDA, urging the residents to support her government’s efforts in building a greater Mosan-Okunola that will work for all. 

The Executive Chairman also implored her constituents to come out en-mass this Saturday Local Government Election to support her and vote for APC to continue the good works and to keep building a better society that is free from violence, insecurity and other social vices.
