THE organisers of the annual Abisco Cup football competition have unveiled the match draws for the year 2022 edition of the tournament.
The Abisco Cup 2022, which is set to kick off today Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Abesan Youth Centre Stadium, Abesan Estate, is played annually to celebrate the Executive Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola LCDA, Hon. (Princess) Olabisi Adebajo.
Fixtures for the round of 32 were recently conducted at the Council Secretariat and online for the benefit of those who can't make it to the venue of the draws.
The event saw in attendance representatives from the 32 registered teams alongside other eye-witnesses who also participated in the draws.
Adebajo, who was absent, was represented by Hon. Dayo Oshinowo, the Vice-Chairman, appreciated all sponsors, stakeholders, and partners of the tournament and further assured everyone that the competition will be a spectacular and remarkable one as each day unfolds.
Secretary to the Local Council, Hon. Ayo Orimolade; Chairman, Nigeria Supporters Club, Rev. Sam Ikpea; alongside Supervisory Councillors, Hon. Tola Olaiya, Hon. Prince Adeyemi, Hon. Omotayo Ojediran, Hon. Komolafe Abimbola, Hon. Ahmed Orire, Hon. Hamzat, and Hon. Falana Temitope graced the event.
