Okun Alimosho deserves all the credit for the yearly Alimosho Business Summit. The organisation initiated the idea and the team have been so passionate about Alimosho community that they just will not stop.
Okun Alimosho was able to submit last year's December 15, 2020 Summit personalities that we do not just bump into. How they got these big fishes into the net would have been incredible. On roll call at the Alimosho Business Summit 2020 were: The Honourable Commissioner of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mrs Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf; Atunyota Akpobome (Alibaba), the popular comedian; Hon Jelili Sulaimon, Chairman, Alimosho Local Government; Ayokunle Orimolade, Secretary to the Local Government; Mosan Okunola LCDA, Alimosho; Rotimi Olukorede, MD, Floodgate Insurance Brokers Ltd and the 10th Chairman of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (Lagos Area Committee), and some others.
And the topics of discussion were also very relevant to Alimosho's situation: From Financial Opportunities and Management Session, Personal Development and Nation Building Session to Business Growth and Development Session. In fact, the speakers did not disappoint us a bit!
Foremost, we beg to have the likes of Dr Teniola Adesanya on roll call.
Dr Teni Adesanya is a self-made billionaire who runs Oxford Group Africa, a multi-business empire that has its hands in diverse businesses. Adesanya's Oxford Group's head office is nestled in Alimosho, somewhere in Gowon Estate. Recently the Group launched its Safegate Microfinance Bank, also located in Alimosho.
Dr Adesanya is an inspiration and truly he will give the Alimosho Business Summit 2021 a lift. In fact, Adesanya is an inspiration the Summit should explore. Ask us why. He studied Microbiology at the Lagos State University, far from anything business. How did he get to where he is today? Let's leave space for youth in this upcoming summit and bring onboard the likes of Adesanya and we will see Alimosho explode for the good of all.
