Shobowale salutes Ayobo-Ipaja workers on International Workers' Day

Happy International Workers Day 2022 to the ones who have survived this year with great willpower and hard work.

THE Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon. (Mrs) Bola Shobowale has saluted the hardworking efforts of the workers in the council area in commemoration of the year 2022 International Worker’s Day celebration.

The council mayor, in a commendation note on Sunday, May 1, 2022, wrote; “International Workers' Day or Labour Day is celebrated on May 1 in most countries. Labour Day is observed to commemorate the struggles and sacrifices of the workers' and labours' movement. It is also known as May Day. 

“All the hardworking labourers and people who work for the betterment of our society do not deserve recognition on just one day. They should be celebrated every day. 

“On this note I want to use this occasion to identify with the great workers of Ayobo - Ipaja LCDA who are represented by NULGE (National Union Of Local Government Employees), Ayobo-Ipaja Chapter who over the past few months of my inception as the Chairman of this Local Government have joined hands with me in ensuring that quality service delivery is given to the residents of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.

“I salute their doggedness, steadfastness, and hard work, I pledge my continuous support towards their welfare.

“To all other cadres of workers in Ayobo Ipaja LCDA both in the private and informal sector, I promise that my administration will provide the enabling environment that will make your work thrive.

“Happy International Workers Day 2022 to the ones who have survived this year with great willpower and hard work. May you keep flourishing well in life and achieve all your heart desires.”
