THE Supervisor for Works and Infrastructure, Hon. Wole Aina, on Friday, January 6, 2023, empowered 60 indigent residents with cash gifts in the Ward B area of the council, stressing that the empowerment is aimed at providing sustenance and adding value to their lives.
According to information made available to Alimoshotoday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Hon. R. S. Jimoh, Hon. Wole Aina, while giving his opening address during the empowerment programme, appreciated the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. (Chief/Mrs) Bola Shobowale, for giving him the opportunity to serve in the present administration.
He also expressed his gratitude to Alhaji Yisa Yusuf (Y.Y) Kure, the APC Apex leader of Mosan-Okunola LCDA and other leaders in the Alimosho LGA for believing in him.
Wole Aina further affirmed that it is always a priority for him to better lives, especially for those people that are less privileged.
He then urged all members and residents of Ward B to go and collect their PVC in other to cast their votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the forthcoming February 25, 2023, Presidential election.
Also, the Leader of the Legislative arm, Hon. Danmola gave a word of encouragement to the beneficiaries, noting that they should see the empowerment as an opportunity to spend the cash productively.
Hon. Bamidele Ojo, on his part, urged the beneficiaries to use the money purposefully and not to spend it frivolously.
“Don’t spend this money lavishly, look for something that would yield interest and bring in more money for you, start from somewhere, and the little profit will become big someday,” he advised.
