THE Olu of Ipaja land, HRM Oba Kolawole Ajani Egundupe (Ilufemiloye 1) Arole Onhile Dosumu, during the weekend celebrated his 100th-day ascension to the throne.
The chiefs that would work together with the king as Oba in Council for more development to surface in the kingdom were also installed.
Among those installed into the council of Obas is Alhaji Yisa Ajiboye Yusuf with the office of Aare Bobaselu of Ipaja kingdom.
The host, Council Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Community Development Area, Hon Shakiru Adisa Yusuf, who spoke at the event, expressed his delight at such wonderful occasion happening in his lifetime.
He also thanked the Alimosho Federal Constituency Apex Leader, Abdullah Ayinde Enilolobo, for his overwhelming support in making everything in Ayobo-Ipaja a success.
He further wished the Olu of Ipaja well in his reign and all endeavours.
The monarch on his part thanked and appreciated all dignitaries present at the occasion.
He also appealed to them all for more support to have a better reign and a soft landing on the throne of his fore-fathers.
In a related development, the Executive Chairman of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Hon Morenike Adesina Williams also felicitated the Olu of Ipaja.
She said that HRM Oba Kolawole Ajani Egundupe, Ilufemiloye 1 has remained peaceful and investor-friendly since he ascended the ancient throne of his forefathers. “Of remarkable note is your royal carriage which is visible in the exemplary manner you have discharged your duties and have remained a source of pride and splendour to the traditional Institution within 100 days on throne.
She said: “On behalf of my family, the government and people of Igando-Ikotun LCDA, I congratulate your Majesty on your 100 Days coronation anniversary.
“We pray that the Almighty God will continue to give you good health and wisdom to pilot the traditional affairs of your kingdom and offer valuable contributions to the development of our dear Alimosho Constituency.”
