Lions Club feeds less privileged in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA

The Executive Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Hon Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, hosted members of the International Association of Lions Clubs District 404B1 over the weekend at the Ayobo-Ipaja Council Secretariat.

The event tagged 'Feeding the Hungry' is one of the cardinal objectives of the Lions Club, founded in 1914 in Chigaco, United States of America. 

While welcoming the Executive Chairman and his team to the event, the District Governor, Lion Oluremi Lynda Odumbaku thanked the chairman for his support over time and also for his cordial relationship with the Lions Club.

She said that 'Feeding the Hungry', Vision Restoration, Environment, Diabetes and Paediatric intervention, are some of their focal interventions.

Hon. Adisa thanked the Club for choosing the LCDA as their point of contact, assuring them of his administration's commitment to easing the burden of the less privileged. He commended the Lions Club for supporting the Government in alleviating the sufferings in the communities.

Thereafter, Hon. Adisa was decorated by the District Governor for his exemplary leadership qualities and commitment to the downtrodden.
