Ayobo Ipaja chairmanship aspirant plans to launch proposed agricultural project

An aspirant of the Ayobo Ipaja LCDA top seat, Agbaje Abiodun has made it known to the public his plans to promote agriculture in Ayobo Ipaja if he is elected into office in 2021.

According to Agbaje Abiodun, his initiative, Ayobo Ipaja Agricultural Economic Development, will provide a platform in which his administration will serve as middlemen between local farmers and matchmakers in the marketplace.

He also said that the platform will help connect local farmers with western markets, through world-class branded food products and delivered through agricultural extension programmes and agents.

He said, "Ayobo-Ipaja Agricultural Economic Development will be working with Ayobo-Ipaja farmers association and other notable NGOs like Global Family Farms and others, alongside Agricultural financial institutions like The Nigerian Agricultural and Cooperative Bank Limited (NACB).

“Our agric projects - through Ayobo Ipaja Agricultural Economic Development Initiative - aim to improve the socio-economic condition of impoverished farmers, protect biodiversity and the environment, promote abundant yields, and preserve local farming traditions.”
