During the sensitisation exercise, people with disabilities were educated on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), its reporting mechanisms and their rights. They were then encouraged to report cases of SGBV.
According to WRAHP, the exercise was meant to ensure an inclusive society, where people living with disabilities are sensitised on SGBV because it is usually intensified by disability-based discrimination.
It is an European Union funded Rule of Law and Anti-corruption project, managed by the British Council.
