THE Lagos State commissioner for Tourist and culture, Honourable Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf Moremi, has empowered the people of Igando Ikotun Local Council Development Area with sewing machines, hairdressing machines, generators, clippers and grinding engines.
The empowerment programme took place at a meeting held at KLM 5 Igando.

One of the beneficiariesThe commissioner, while distributing the items to youths, women and some farmers, said the empowerment is aimed at supporting and empowering the less privileged.
She urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the materials while advising them to establish small scale businesses.
