THE management of the Igando-Ikotun LCDA has made a public announcement to inform the general public of a Measles vaccine drive that will be starting in the community area soon.
Information reaching Alimoshotoday affirms that the Measles vaccine is to fortify a child’s immune system to fight against the Measles virus.
The Measles vaccine would be administered to children between the ages of 9 months to 59 months (9 months- 5 years) and it is free.
The public announcement reads; “Igando-Ikotun LCDA Public awareness on Measles Vaccine! Please circulate this information to create more awareness.
“Our health officers will soon get to your area to give our children from 9 months to 5 years measles vaccine.
“Welcome them and allow your child to get immunized against measles. It is safe and it is free.
"Together, let’s save lives!”
