LAGOS Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC) Igando-Ikotun Chapter has, today Tuesday, January 12, 2022, reported that there is an exposed NNPC pipeline at the junction of Ayinde Street along Ijedodo Road, beside the plank market, Ijegun Ikotun.
According to reports gathered by AlimoshoToday from the LNSC, the exposure was due to erosion caused by last year’s rainfall and the area has since been sectioned off to ensure the safety of residents of the year.
As of the time of this report, residents of the area are peacefully going about their normal businesses.
Residents of the area have, however, been warned to avoid tampering with the area to avoid explosion and fire.
